22/Feb release note: Motion groups

This release note concerns the February 2022 release, which is a special release.
The 22/Feb release is a single feature release containing a major change to how connected motion works and simplifying greatly the commissioning of such units.
Feature availability
The feature is available to all customers as of 1st of March, 2022. The feature is available for all Citygrid™ products.

No need to perform commissioning. Once powered, motion detection triggers all luminaires in radio range. In most standard scenarios, this will work very well. Using the Citygrid installation app, or the Light Management System (Gateway) group luminaires in distinct groups:

Replacing a defective unit, or extending an existing installation requires at most the commissioning of the new units. |

Updating to the new firmware
The new firmware control firmware 1.5.1 will be slowly rolled out automatically from connected installations.
It can also be pushed manually on-site using Installation app 1.2.2 Citygrid Installation App on Google Play
